I am writing on behalf of European Young Innovators Forum. (EYIF, http://eyif.eu/). We are  the leading Foundation for Youth Innovation in  Europe. 

We are seeking trainees enrolled on Erasmus +, Leonardo or other programme. We work in a close collaboration with the European Commission and the European Parliament. That gives the trainee the opportunity to gain hands on experience in the organisation of a high level EU event with several hundreds of participants.

 EYIF is dynamic organisation, so the trainee will get the opportunity to work and be mentored directly by the leaders and develop real-world skills in management, event organisation, communications, people relations in an environment full of innovators, entrepreneurs, experts and top decision makers from the public and private sectors.


Profiles desired:

Communication

 

What would be your role?

- Conducting research and assisting in the creation of different communication tools;

- Drafting documents, presentations and other communications material;

- Preparing, managing and updating the website

- Active contribution in day-to-day operations;

- Attendance at and reporting on internal and external meetings;

 

What skills, expertise and experience should you have?
- University degree, preferably Communications or Public Relation
- Experience in social media/new media applications including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Wordpress, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Competent in MS Office programes

- The candidate must be able to work with limited supervision as well as with the larger team and have the ability to think critically and problem-solve assignment-related issues

- Entrepreneurial spirit

 

 

Operations assistant

 

What would be your role?

- Active contribution in day-to-day operations;

- Helping to event management (content and logistics)

- Performing various administrative tasks

- Supporting EU projects implementation

- Research on various topics 

 

What skills, expertise and experience should you have?

- University degree;

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. French is an asset;

- Ability to manage stress, multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise workload;

- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;

- Proficiency with MS Office applications and Internet is a must, acquaintance with other  database management software is a strong advantage;

- Pragmatic, ability to take initiative and independently plan to meet deadlines;

- Self-starter, positive attitude, flexible, team player

 


HR/administrative assistant

 

What would be your role?

- help in the new trainees recruitment process

- management of the overall higher institution partners relationship

- research on EU funding programmes for traineeships

- basic accounting tasks

- basic office management

- keep track of day-to-day operations

 

What skills, expertise and experience should you have?
- Higher Education Degree, preferably in Business Management, Economics, HR and/or Accountancy

- Good knowledge of EU funding programes for traineeships, such as Erasmus +, Eurodyssee.

- General administrative experience is a plus

- Pragmatic, ability to take initiative and independently plan to meet deadlines;

- Detail oriented, self-starter, positive attitude, flexible, team player

- Proficiency with MS Office applications and Internet is a must



Deadline for applications: 15th October 2014
Starting date: 1st November 2014 - 1st February 2015 (flexible)
Duration: 24 weeks (negotiable)
