The Euromime Master (http://www.euromime.org) is one of the 116 European masters of the Erasmus Mundus program launched since now more than 5 years by the European Community. Euromime is a European Master in Media Engineering for Education. It trains project managers in the field of design, development and implementation of educational and training programs resorting to computer mediated environments. It also trains researchers specializing the study of the use of use of these technologies.

The Euromime consortium is composed of 7 universities, 3 in south-west Europe (Université de Poitiers - France; Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Madrid - Espańa; Universidade Técnica de Lisboa - Portugal) and 4 in Latin America (Universidad de Los Lagos, Osorno - Chile; Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Lima; Universidade de Brasilia - Brasil; Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México - México)

We are looking for European and non European students interested in a trilingual two year program, combining a study stay in our three European universities and a study period in Latin America. The candidatures must be sent before January 3rd, 2011 !

Scholarships for non european students and students from western Balkans and Turquey : 2 year grant (48000EUR) and tuition fees for the program are EUR4000/semester.

Scholarships for european students and from Lichtenstein, Iceland & Norway : 2 year grant (23000EUR) and tuition fees for the program are EUR2000/semester.

I thus have great need for your assistance so that this rather exceptional master program, with its international character and its Erasmus Mundus label, can welcome students we are looking for.

We are pleased to inform you that European Commission has selected last July two higher education programmes dedicated to this domain of science and technology:

* EUDIME Erasmus Mundus Doctorate in Membrane Engineering (http://eudime.unical.it/),

* EM3E Erasmus Mundus Master in Membrane Engineering (http://www.em3e.eu ).

The first call for applications for the Erasmus Mundus Master in Membrane Engineering, EM3E, is now open for the next academic year 2011-2012. This high-level Master offers an advanced education programme at the interface between material science and chemical engineering and focused on specific applicative fields. It involves 6 Higher Education Institutions of 5 European countries as full partners. Open to European and non-European students.

Scholarships, covering course fees and a living and travel allowance, will be offered to selected students based on excellence criteria. Enclosed, you will find the leaflet of Master EM3E, the application form and an information note with more details about the application procedure.

We would be very grateful if you could disseminate this information to your network contacts and to possibly interested students.
