What to do when you arrive in Hungary

FROM BUDAPEST

- By train : Trains depart from Nyugati Station, travel time is approx. 21 hours, and there are four InterCity (IC) trains daily.

- By coach : Coaches depart from Népstadion Station with a stop in Kecskemét; travel time is approx. 3 hours

- By car : Take Motorway M5 to Kiskunfélegyháza, then turn onto National Route No. 5

ARRIVING IN SZEGED

- By train : The railway station is approx. 2 km from the town centre. Take tram 1 to the University and the centre.

- By coach : The coach station is in the western part of the city (in Mars tér), the centre can be reached by local buses 70 and 71 as well as trolley buses 5 and 9.

Erasmus registration and accommodation

Go to the International Relations Centre for registration.
Office hours: Weekdays 8.00-16.00h

Bring with you:

• proof of your Erasmus status indicating the length of your stay;
• a passport photo
• your passport

You will receive:

• a University of Szeged Erasmus registration certificate
• your student card for Hungary
• our Erasmus questionnaire to be returned at the end of your stay.

The Erasmus questionnaire must be returned to the Centre at the end of your stay; your comments on the University of Szeged are very important to the success of the programme.

For accommodation go to the International Relations Centre and bring with you:

• a photocopy of your passport
