ERASMUS+
ERASMUS+


ERASMUS+, the new EU programme for education, training, youth and sport covers the period 2014-2020. Aimed at boosting skills, employability and supporting the modernisation of education, training and youth systems, the seven-year programme will have a budget of €14.7 billion - 40% higher than current levels.
Within the frame of the ERASMUS+ programme USz has 828 cooperation agreements with 442 partner universities from 31 countries.

CEEPUS


The main activity of Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (CEEPUS) are university networks operating joint programs ideally leading to Joint Degrees, esp. Joint Doctoral Programs. CEEPUS covers mobility grants for students and teachers in this framework.
USz has been taking part in CEEPUS since 1994. Now USz takes part in 9 networks, in 1 network as coordinator, in 8 networks as partner. These networks include cooperation among 65 partner universities of 16 CEEPUS member countries.

EEA Grants


Az European Economic Area (EEA) Grants are financial mechanisms established by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The donor states are members of the EEA but are not members of the European Union. The grants are designed to encourage bilateral cooperation and project partnerships with 16 EU countries, including Hungary.



European Quality Label - 2006

The European Quality Label 2006 is an international quality assurance project supported by the European Commission which seeks to recognise those institutions that have demonstrated significant achievements in decentralised projects and mobility activities carried out under the Socrates programme.


E-Quality 2007

The European Quality Label 2007 is an international quality assurance project supported by the European Commission which seeks to recognise those institutions that have demonstrated significant achievements in decentralised projects and mobility activities carried out under the Socrates programme.
In 2007 the University of Szeged was awarded the European Quality Label for its ERASMUS student and teaching staff mobility project and for its excellent project management.


ERASMUS Success Stories 2010

The brochure ERASMUS Success Stories 2010 presents the success stories of 10-10 European higher education institutions which achieved outstanding qualitative and quantitative results in the fields of organizing teaching staff mobility and intensive programmes in the period 2000-2006.
In teaching staff mobility activities the University of Szeged is among the top ten universities of Europe. (See the

International Cooperation Quality Award 2011

International Cooperation Culture Quality Award aims to recognise educational and training projects of outstanding quality, implemented with the support of Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP). The initiative concerns the institutional measures of all Lifelong Learning actions. All complete final reports received before the deadline were automatically included in the selection process. Besides recognising the demanding and committed work being done in the projects, the Award also aims to call the attention to the importance of quality and, at the same time, to provide the awarded institutions an opportunity to present their results to a professional audience and share their experiences with the other participants of the programme.
