Departmental Coordinator: *: You have to visit 4*5 hour long lessons, which will be held by our guest professors (Czech, German, and Italian) in the following subjects: international marketing, international management, international finances.
Ms. Kinga BÖDŐ - Student Office, KO Room 006 bodo.kinga@eco.u-szeged.hu   Each 5 hour long blocks will be valued by a test. There will be social programs too, as guided cycling around the city and an exclusive wine tasting from Villány, Szekszárd and Upper Balaton regions (with 1000 Ft fee to cover the costs).

In the part "Overview" we have listed the BA and MA courses separately and sorted them by semester.

MA students can register for any courses but a sufficient educational background in economics is a required prerequisite.

BA students of economics can register for MA courses on condition that  they receive the approval of the given instructor.

Students of other fields are allowed to register for BA courses only.

Course requirements

Incoming Erasmus students majoring in English/Exchange students of the Institute of English and American Studies

  • may take all/any courses offered by the IEAS.

Incoming Erasmus students majoring in other subjects

  • may take courses offered by the IEAS in literature, linguistics, culture, history and methodology if they have good command of English, both spoken and written (e.g. meets TOEFL, minimum score 550 or 213 on a computer- based TOEFL test or another equvalent English test).
  • may take 1st year language skills courses if  their English meets
    level B2 of the European Framework for Language Proficiency Level at least or  the standard of any recognised language proficiency test which equals to it e.g. Cambridge First Certificate Exam
  • may take 2nd/3rd language skills courses if their command of English meets level C1 or Cambridge Advanced Exam.
